Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress best known for her the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. The actress began her career in the her twenties. Her character in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her hugely popular. Her subsequent appearance on the screen was in Dil with Aamir. Her birthplace was in a Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing at a young age. In her early years, when she started acting as a young actor, the majority of films that she made weren't successful. She finally found success, and went on to be one of the most prominent actresses within the Indian film business. After marriage, she experienced a career break before reentering the business. In the last few years, Dixit was a key player on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. She is also acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
