Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") is an Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. When she was a teenager, she has worked both in traditional and popular music. Her music interests have widened to include hip-hop and soul. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, but still featuring the sharpness of older singers. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit that topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. The singer collaborated with a variety of performers and musicians like Cory Henry. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 after the show of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the very first Spanish artist to have performed solo on the show. Motomami, Rosalia's album that was awarded three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to receive the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
