MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress into Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) won a Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked it at number 8. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. The group released Dopamina, his chart-topping second album, in the year following. Later in 2021, he performed in a duet with TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. In 2023, he appeared on 2000, which featured the hit single La Bachata. Turizo was raised in a musical environment, since both his mom and his older brother are musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory.
