At the time of writing, Francois was worth about $7 billion. If they divorced, Salma's share of community property and future financial support could dramatically boost her worth. Salma Hayek, who starred in "Teresa" which was a cult Mexican Telenovela during the 1990s and 1980s she moved in Los Angeles in order to learn English and to make a go of it as an actor. When she began her profession in the US, she starred as a lead in "El Callejon de los Milagros" one of the biggest award-winning film to be made in Mexican film history. When she returned to the United States, she made her English-language debut in Robert Rodriguez sleeper hit, "Desperado", opposite Antonio Banderas. From her debut, she jumped on to roles in such films as "From Dusk Till Dawn", "Fools Rush In", "54", "Wild Wild West", "Dogma", "Timecode" and "Hotel". Then, she decided to start her own production company, and she began production work beginning in 2000. In 2002, she appeared in and produced the biopic "Frida" that focused on the life and work of Frida Kahlo. The film, which was produced by Julie Taymor, went on to win multiple awards, and netted she an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. Since then, she's gone back and forth between TV and film roles.
